Are a Britney fan, Gaga fan, Beyoncé, or any other pop queen?

My personal pop queen is Charli XCX  with love

Last year when she was doing the Before the Dawn series I was interested/excited and was talking to a friend about it.  Fine.  When I was done expressing my enthusiasm he let go with some vitriol that at the time shocked me & also made me question our relationship.  Funny thing when I was just reminded of that I can't remember which 'friend' it was.  I think I must have blocked his hate so our friendship could continue...

Steven Patrick Morrissey.

More seriously, if I were to pick some super-mainstream female pop vocalist, it would have to be Whitney Houston. I'm not sure if she really counts as a "pop queen" similar to, say, Britney Spears, but I really do enjoy her a lot, and I'm not generally into a lot of female pop singers.

I almost said Kate Bush, but I figured she didn't really fit the "pop queen" designation either. I must be the last person on earth to discover her, but I've fallen in love with her music. She really is something special. Eccentric yet beautiful. Avant-garde (weird, even) yet totally accessible. All at the same time. with love

If the Mael brothers were an English girl, they'd probably be Kate Bush.
