I hear on the news today that America has voted to ditch net neutrality. Out of curiosity I have been reading articles with the arguments in favor and against.

This was particularly interesting:
Portugal hints at what the American internet could eventually look like without net neutrality

In the article, the author posits that Portugal's tiered "package-" model of internet could become the norm for america.

What are your thoughts? Do you have concerns or no? Do you foresee this as a possibility there? Those who voted in favor of repealing net neutrality seemed to assure that this wouldn;t be a possibility (source)

Net Neutrality is the only way we can ensure fairness.
