As we all see, there are many amateur videos where people film their sexual encounters with strangers.
Recently I had such an encounter where the guy wanted to film the session and claimed that it was for personal use only.
I declined in fear of finding it on the web at some point.
Would you trust a stranger who claims he wants to film for this own personal use?

Can you trust that stranger to look in your bank account and not take any cash out, just because he wanted to see how much money you had? Can you trust that stranger to tell you if he had any infectious diseases?  Can you trust that stranger not to have secretly filmed the whole business even after you said no?

I don't have a clue, I wasn't there,  I wasn't the one that met that particular stranger, so I can only guess. But we all trust strangers every single day and we make judgements on all the info we have at that particular time in whether we put our trust in them. So with trusting a stranger who wants to film something for his 'own personal collection' would be a judgement call after I had more info about him, checked him out, all that kinda stuff.  Generally, I'd always be a bit wary of someone filming something for their 'own personal collection' sounds a bit suspect to me. However, if he'd said I wanna film myself sucking your cock to put it on the net, or word to that effect, I'd admire the honesty and probably agree!

If I was able to see the video concerned I'd be able to pass a judgement.  Wink

I think you answered your own question. Think about it, would there be so many amateur videos if there weren't people to post them without permission? I think most of us would prefer not to have ourselves posted. If you don't know the guy I wouldn't trust him.

The bigger question is how to prevent someone from covertly recording during sex? when everybody carries a smart phone even to bed.

I've been caught by someone putting his phone on a vertical stand with the rear camera facing the bed. So I didn't realized it was recording. When he shared it with a friend who showed me, then it's too late. Of course there's more fun for him to show off to like-minded friends, that's why he took so much trouble.

I filmed encounters for my own use and never uploaded them. Would I trust that of everyone though? No.

Sometimes the camera can be set in such a way that you can't see your face...depends what your doing lol
Personally being a big dicked exhibitionist, i get off being filmed stripping down, and getting hard!
I recently had an add on a local hook up site, an older guy contacted me, and i went over to his place
to strip down and show off while he filmed me! I also let him film me jerking off and shooting a big load!
We live in a small town and he said a few times it was for his own use and pleasure and i believe him!
It was a hot time! He remained dressed and i got pretty excited lol I saw him at the store recently  and he thanked
me again, and said he loves watching the video! That gives me pleasure and I personally am not bothered if my vids
get online, I have some anyway on some gay hook up sites! But if your concerned, its best to avoid any cams and keep on the
look out for anyone filming without telling you!

Well I have photographed a few guys, but NEVER posted anything. Wouldn't dare to do that. It would be wrong of me to break the trust the have in me. So would say be careful.

As a photographer I have taken both stills and movies of people having sexual fun, but ALWAYS with their permission or most often at their request. Only on those occasions where the performances were intended for publication have I uploaded them to the web at the direction and permission of those depicted. The vast majority of my images and films remain the property of the people concerned to do with what they wish.

Would I trust a stranger to keep a sex film to themself? No!
