So I just finished reading an awesome book called "The Life-changing Manga of Tidying Up" (but there's an actual literary version - just exchange "Manga" with "Magic") and it inspires me to start cleaning and fixing my room. Any of you guys read this? Finished it in just one sitting.

You might like Tidying Up with Marie Kondo on Netflix. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8115560/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Personally I hated it, and gave up 15 mins in.

tidying up a messy place is relaxing when you have so much time to waste and not doing any pressing matter

I tried to watch the first episode for the heck of it. I can understand why those who read the book/manga aren't really pleased with the Netflix series. Oh well.

To me, the advice of Marie Kondo and her clones applies primarily to the many things we hold onto because of sentiment, from clothes to knick-knacks, etc.

A straight guy wrote a funny rebuttal to this Kondo style of organizing, saying he had a shed full of tools, and while his lawn mower did not "spark joy" on a hot afternoon, he thinks he will keep it anyway, lol...
