Drink water, a lot, everyday, all day long.
You can eat/drink anything you want... as long as you drink a lot of water and eat fruits and vegetables.
Protect yourself from the sun. A little exercise is good to, walk, take the stairs and a relaxing swimming session.

This strikes me as "feel-good" dietary advice, involving a vague and a broad claim that could easily be helpful or harmful.

It's also confusing and incomplete as written.  Do us a favor and provide a few sources (medical journals, reputable health magazines, etc.) to support your claim with additional clarity and details.  Thanks.

Some guides like to point out the color of urine while doing this. They say that if your urine is clear, you are healthy enough and the toxins are all being flushed out.

It's about as common sense-y like dropping a few slices of lemon in your pitcher of water. Something that feels very inconsequential but supposedly has a lot of benefits.

I am trying so badly to drink more water, but as a baby, my parents gave me juice--- so I am addicted to sugar and it's hard for me not to have soft drinks.

A good rule of thumb is to aim for "pale yellow urine" [more pale then the color on the screen] as clear may occur with over-hydration (unless you test for the specific gravity, clear looks clear no matter how dilute) resulting in an electrolyte imbalance. With the goal of "pale yellow," you are likely to remain well hydrated while avoiding over hydration, as well as need to urinate frequently allowing for a 'system check.'

This more physiological goal is better as it will provide a more reliable assessment of your hydration status: days that you are physically active will require more hydration, whereas days where you binge on TV require less hydration.

I don't know. OP hasn't checked back in to tell us what to do next here.

The OP's remarks are so general, don't hold your breath waiting for further enlightenment.

Depending on your time zone, consider having a beer or a cocktail with ice cubes, you'll get water.     Crazy?
