I've only recently started joining spinning (indoor cycling) classes, but I find that (A) I tire easily - after one song/track, I have to sit back on the saddle and drink some water, as if my lungs will give out (note that I stopped smoking 4 years ago), and (B) my legs and thighs "hurt" easily, and I have to slow down for the last 20-25 minutes of the class, or else my knees would just buckle.

Any advice on how to build my endurance and strengthen my legs/thighs, without having to hit the gym religiously (I would love to do that, but my work schedule just won't permit it)? Thanks!

PS: After three classes, I find that my legs/thighs don't hurt as much anymore - DOMS after my first ever class was horrible and lasted 3 days, but now it's much better, especially after using a foam roller. I suppose that's a good sign?
