Bad news: you can't.
In some cases, becoming a full-time alcoholic (as in: be drunk 24/7) can help you keep your hair on your head but I really can't recommend this.

That I'm very interested.
I love to drink away the blues but like those who drink would say, I'm not alcoholic.
I still have a full head of hair but as thick as before.

of course you can have finasteride 1mg/day for life + minoxidil 5% for life. then you can have biotin as supplement + cysteine / methionine + B6.
you can also try aminoxidil , of course shampoo with arginine and taurine and caffeine. If it turns out your hair is greasy and scratchs then ketoconazole 2% . Clinical trials have shown a good synergie between ketoconazole (topical) / finasteride / minoxidil.

I've heard consistently bad things about the drugs used to treat baldness causing temporary or permanent erectile dysfunction, so be careful with that route. I've seen claims that dermarolling on your scalp helps prevent hair loss; and in general, it seems like many holistic treatments work by promoting blood circulation in your scalp, which may help with some causes of hair loss. But there doesn't seem to be very effective, proven non-surgical avenues from the somewhat serious searching I've done.

Given that baldness is a genetic trait, there's nothing you can do except avoid using your hair in ways that encourage hair fall. An example might be if your hair is long and you use bands that catch and pull out your hair when taking them off. But the sad truth is that if you're meant to loose your hair, you're gonna.

The whole point of medication is to extremely slow down the process for decades. Sure you will probably lose quite a bit around 65 but.. it's not as important as being bald at 30 without treatment.

I personally started thinning at 23 years old. Went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for finasteride. It blocks the DHT (dihydrotestosterone) from forming around your hair follicles beneath the scalp, which is a by-product of testosterone. By blocking DHT you prevent more hair from falling out, but you won't really regain what you've already lost, so it's important to start this treatment early and remain consistent with it. I've taken 5mg a day for the last 7 years and I have stopped thinning with zero side-effects.

If you don't like the idea of a pill, then shampooing with Nizoral (1-2% ketoconazole), which is an anti-fungus treatment, will also eliminate the DHT from your scalp. It won't be as strong as the finasteride, but should work, I like to use it in conjunction with the finasteride just to be safe. You can also buy shampoos that are custom made with ketoconazole in them, but with more conditioning properties and/or natural ingredients for good scalp health.

Finally the only thing actually proven to regrow and keep you from losing more hair is Rogaine (minoxidil 2%), but you can get many different generic versions of this that are much cheaper than Rogaine. I personally use a generic minoxidil treatment at 5% (again to be safe) and I have seen significant regrowth from using it, but it takes time (6 months - 2 years). This is also a topical treatment and is best applied at night when you go to bed.

Alter your genetic code.

Or alternatively, accept the course of nature. Shave it off and go for the Vin Diesel look, maybe buff up a bit at the gym for the complete look. I'd push any full-haired man off a bridge if it would get me closer to Vin Diesel.

Well focus on the reason and source first.

You can have:

Biological reasons
and
Mental reasons

For mental reasons I mean things like long journeys or travelling from place to place constantly, but most of all the stress from handling to much things, having too much on your head and stuff. Well it's easy to say, but in that case you just have to chill.

For biological reasons there is possibility that your diet is low in protein, zinc, potassium, magnessium, chrome or iron. Which have impact for the skin on your head. If so think through how your diet looks like and try to make it up for it by recomposing the meals or just buying vitamins.

There can be also a problem because of DHT. DHT will grow your hair in any other places but not on the head. It will be very active if you work out really often and hard. But as someone also said it depends on your genetic code too. You can also use some oils or acids I've seen in some articles actually. Do a research in the web. The best thing though would be of course going to the doctor. In the meantime try some of the things that work against DHT: green tea, nettle, lysine, vitamin B6, aloe, small-leaved shrimps, extract from the bark of the african plum.
Don't know if those are valid names though cause I google translated them.

But on the other hand ... yeah. Why not accept balding and going to the gym and being a nice buffed bald headed guy. I love those. Vin Diesel, yeah I had crush once, but he looks terrible off season and sings terribly too  Grin But something like Dominic Purcell from Prison Break. AHhh.

I've noticeably thinned out along my hairline over the last 10 years, it's been slow but I still don't like it. I've used minoxidil on and off over the years, and I've been back on it for the last 12 months. It's hard to tell whether it's truly working or not, but I've just resigned myself to the fact that in maybe 10 years I might need a transplant or something more permanent. They are expensive, but can look really good and natural.

never ever do that ! once minoxidil has been started it's something you have to keep for life otherwise the hair get thinner when you stop ( thinner that without minoxidil) . check the web for that.

Go see a dermatologist. Only a doctor can tell you the best way for your specific case.

I use minoxidyl 5% and take finasteride everyday. No side effects. It's been working so far for me.

I totally understand feeling insecure about it. But, just so you know, there are guys out there who are good with bald men, including myself. If you can find a way that works and makes you feel more confident, go for it. But don't torture yourself. Hope this helps.
