I'm converting an mkv file to mp4 to play on my iPad. It has an external srt file for subtitles in English. The software I am using defaults the font for the subtitles to the one at the top of my system installed font list (on a mac). Any recommendation on the best font for English subtitles?

Myriad? Georgia?
Arial Narrow, Helvetica Condensed?

Any serif-sans font. They are easy to read and free to get.
